(LAMBTON, ON) – On Saturday August 6th, 2016 just after 6:00 a.m., the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was dispatched to a serious single vehicle, motor vehicle collision in the area of Lambton Line, Dawn-Euphemia Township.
Lambton OPP along with Lambton Emergency Medical Service (EMS) and Dawn-Euphemia Township Fire Department responded to a location on Lambton Line between Annett Road and Downie Road. Upon arrival, responders observed a single motor vehicle in the north ditch which had sustained significant damage. A lone male occupant was located inside the motor vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the male driver is being withheld at this time pending notification to family.
Investigation is on-going at this time. The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators have been requested and are on scene. Lambton Line will be closed between Annett Road and Downie Road until approximately 12:00 p.m. Members of the public are asked to avoid this area during this time.
