(ESSEX, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) continues to investigate the cause of crash that claimed the life of an area man.
A passerby discovered the crash early November 21, 2015 on the Fourteenth Concession east of Pinkerton Road and just west of Highway 3 in Essex.
Investigators believe the crash occurred sometime overnight the previous night. The deceased’s vehicle struck a construction trailer that was parked at the end of the Fourteenth Concession.
The OPP along with Essex Windsor Emergency Medical Service (EMS) and Essex Fire and Rescue Service assisted on scene.
Cameron ILES, age 25 of Cottam was pronounced dead at the scene. A post mortem will take place in the coming days. He was the only person involved in the crash
