(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) – This evening at approximately 8:56 p.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a fatal collision involving two motor vehicles on Wellington Road 18 at the 4th Line of Centre Wellington Township.
The driver and lone occupant of one of the vehicles was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the second vehicle was not injured. The driver’s name will not be released until next of kin have been notified.
Centre Wellington Fire Rescue along with Wellington County Roads Department attended the scene.
The cause of the collision is currently being investigated by OPP Technical Collision Investigators (TCI) and Wellington Road 18 between the 4th Line and the 5th Line of Centre Wellington Township remains closed at this time.
