(KINGSVILLE, ON) — The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was called to attend the scene of a multi-vehicle crash earlier this afternoon on Highway 3 between Essex County Road 18 and Upcott Side Road in Kingsville.
Essex Windsor Emergency Medical Service (EMS) along with Kingsville Fire Department attended as well. A total of 7 vehicles were involved.
One person died at the scene. One person was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries and three other people were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) are on scene and the road is expected to remain closed for the next several hours while the investigation takes place.
