(LAKESHORE, ON) – On April 29, 2017 at approximately 7:30 p.m. Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Essex Windsor Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Lakeshore Fire Department responded to a single motor vehicle rollover collision on Highway 3, east of Essex County Road 19 (Manning Road) Lakeshore, Ontario.
A black JEEP was travelling eastbound on Highway 3 when it lost control and rolled over coming to rest in the eastbound lanes.
The male passenger in the vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver was arrested at the scene for impaired operation of a motor vehicle and was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Highway 3 between Essex County Road 19 and Ellis Side road remains closed as the OPP’s Technical Collision Investigators process the scene.
