On Sunday, December 28, 2014 at 6:09 p.m., police responded to a personal injury collision at Sheppard Avenue East, near Abbotsfield Gate.
It is reported that:
– a 24-year-old man was driving a 2015 Land Rover Evoque, eastbound on Sheppard Avenue East, near Abbotsfield Gate, in the curb lane
– an 80-year-old man was attempting to cross Sheppard Avenue East, from the north side to the south side
– the man was struck by the vehicle
The man suffered life-threatening injuries and was pronounced at the scene.
