(WEST PERTH, ON) – Shortly after 7:00 p.m. on May 26, 2018, members of the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Perth County Paramedic Services, and West Perth Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle collision on Perth Line 39 in the Municipality of West Perth.
The collision involving an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) and a commercial motor vehicle remains under investigation at this time. The male ATV driver was transported to hospital where he was pronounced deceased. His identity will be withheld until next of kin notification takes place.
OPP Technical Collision Investigation (TCI) Team are attending the scene to assist with the collision investigation. Motorists are advised that Perth Line 39 between Perth Road 170 and Perth Road 179 will remain closed until the investigation is complete.
