(TOWN OF NEW TECUMSETH) – On Saturday, October 17, 2015, at approximately 3:25 pm, members of Nottawasaga Detachment, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to the scene of a fatal crash involving a single aircraft.
The crash occurred at the 8th Line of New Tecumseth, east of Tottenham Road in Beeton. The 8th Line was closed between Tottenham Road and Dayfoot Street for several hours for emergency units.
Nottawasaga OPP has concluded their investigation and has identified the deceased person as 52 year old David COFFEY of the New Tecumseth area. The Transport Safety Board will be continuing with any further investigation.
