(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Detachment is asking farmers to try to keep their field irrigation systems from spraying water onto the roadways.
The irrigation overspray can cause a dangerous driving situation for the motoring public by creating a slippery road surface and limiting visibility for drivers.
These conditions can be especially dangerous for motorcyclists who may unexpectedly get hit with a spray of water leading to a potentially serious or fatal collision.
