FAIL TO HAVE INSURANCE

(QUINTE WEST, ON) – On April 7th, 2014, at approximately 10:30am while on general patrol a Quinte West OPP officer stopped a motorist on Bay St.

During the investigation it was learned that the 25 year old female driving from Trenton was driving with a suspended licence. A further vehicle documentation check showed that the vehicle was not insured at the time of the stop.

The 25 year old female driver is to appear in court to answer to the charges of Driving While Under Suspension and Owner Operate Motor Vehicle on a Highway – No Insurance. She faces fines off up to $6000.

It is every drivers responsibility to ensure that their vehicles are insured and that all the documentation for the vehicle is with them at all times.
