Exeter Auto Dealer Has Vehicle Impounded After Teen Caught Stunt Driving In Goderich

(GODERICH, ON) – Police have charged an 18-year-old driver from Goderich with Stunt Driving. On October 23, 2015 at 11:37 a.m. a witness observed the driver of a Chevrolet Camaro convertible driving very quickly within the Goderich District Collegiate Institute (GDCI) parking lot. The driver then pulled onto Bennett Street and proceeded to “fish tail” in an erratic manner out of the parking lot. Once onto the roadway the driver sped off travelling west on Bennett Street at a high rate of speed. A short while later the driver and vehicle was spotted travelling once again at a high rate of speed on Bennett Street.

At 12:37 p.m. a Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer spotted the suspect vehicle travelling northbound on Suncoast Drive. Upon speaking with the young driver it was learned the driver had the vehicle out on a test drive from an auto dealership in Exeter.

18-year-old Casey HUFF has been charged with Stunt Driving. He now has a court date scheduled for the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich. He also received an automatic seven day driver’s licence suspension and the dealership Camaro was impounded for a week.
