(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – On July 6, 2014 an Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed on Highway 35 near Fleetwood Road and subsequently stopped the vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle, Lorenzo LISI, 51 years of age, of Scarborough, was charged with stunt driving due to excessive speed, as he was operating his vehicle at 137km/h in an 80 km/h zone at the time of the incident.
As a result of the investigation the vehicle was towed from the scene, the accused had his driver’s licence suspended and he will appear in court, in Lindsay, on August 12, 2014.
