Excavating Equipment Vanadalized

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment investigated an incident at a Lynndale Road, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.

Between Friday, November 28, 2014 and Monday, December 1, 2014, unknown suspects attended the address and damaged excavating equipment located on the property. Unknowns proceeded to remove various parts from the engine bays and then damaged the windows, mirrors and electrical systems on two excavators.

Residents are being urged to contact police if they see suspicious persons or vehicles, and try to obtain as much detail as you can, write down the person(s) description, the type of vehicle they are driving and the licence plate number.

Then don’t delay, call the police and report it. 1 – 888 – 310 – 1122 will put you in contact with the nearest O.P.P. Communications Centre to report the activity. OPP (677) on your cellular will also work.

“Don’t be shy; if you see something, say something. Make that call and report suspicious activity, it could be your valuables that you’re saving.”
