(LUCAN BIDDULPH, ON)- On Saturday April 19, 2014 at 9:00 p.m. Middlesex OPP conducted a traffic stop on Richmond Street just north of Lucan. At the time of the stop police discovered that driver had been drinking. A roadside screening test was administered and the driver registered a FAIL. The driver was placed under arrest at the scene and transported to the Lucan OPP detachment for further tests. As a result police have charged Evan DOUGHERTY age, 23 of London, ON with one count of Driving with More than 80 mgs. of Alcohol in Blood as per Section 253 (1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada. The accused was released from police custody by way of a Promise to Appear (PTA) and is scheduled to appear in a London court room on June 3, 2014 to speak to the charges.
