Eugene HOLLETT: Trafficking & Weapons Charges

(KIRKLAND LAKE, ON ) – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau Drug Enforcement Unit along with the assistance of the members of the Ontario Provincial Police Kirkland Lake Detachment have charged a man with several offences. The charges stem from the investigation of illegal drug related activities in the Kirkland Lake area. It culminated with the execution of a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Search warrant at a residence on McCamus Avenue in Kirkland Lake

Seized as a result of the search were marihuana, money, drug paraphernalia and a weapon. The estimated street value of the drug seized is approximately $2,350. The incident occurred at approximately 10:40 a.m. on November 28, 2014.

Charged is Eugene HOLLETT age 49 of Kirkland Lake Ontario, with Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession Property Obtained by Crime, Possession of a Firearm Contrary to Prohibition Order and Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon. The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Kirkland Lake on January 28, 2015
