(Prince Edward County, ON)â€â€On August 16, 2014 at 9:32pm officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Prince Edward County detachment were called to assist the Sandbanks Provincial Park Enforcement with a motor vehicle stop. Park Enforcement had stopped the motor vehicle for erratic driving within the campground.
The male driver who appeared to have been consuming alcohol was arrested by the OPP. 38-year old, Kier HARRIS of Kingston, ON was charged with Operation With Over 80mgs of Alcohol contrary to Section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was later released from police custody on a promise to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Picton, ON on September 3, 2014.
