(MOOSONEE, ON) – On May 11, 2015 members of the Moosonee Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to an unknown disturbance on Wavey Crescent. Upon arriving at the scene officers located a male who had been assaulted.
The victim was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. The Moosonee OPP conducted an investigation with the assistance of the OPP Crime Unit and as a result Eric KOOSTACHIN (27), of Moosonee Ontario was charged with the following offences:
Aggravated assault
Fail to Comply with Probation Order
Fail to Comply with Probation Order
On May 21, 2015 the Moosonee OPP was called to a disturbance on Bay Road in Moosonee. While attending the call, the Eric KOOSTACHIN was located inside the residence. He was arrested for the previous incident.
The accused was held in custody and is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Timmins on May 26, 2015.
