(CITY OF GUELPH, ON) – On January 3, 2015 at approximately 1:02 a.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting R.I.D.E. spot checks at Highway 6 and College Avenue in the City of Guelph.
Officers investigated the male driver of a 2014 Hyundai that entered into the checkpoint. While speaking with the driver, police believed that he had consumed alcohol. A Roadside Screening Device test was conducted which resulted in a fail.
Emmanuel ADEBAYO age 26 of Mississauga has been charged with Over 80 MGS contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on January 27, 2015 to answer to the charge.
