(BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) –On Sunday the 29th of March 2015 at approximately 7:00 pm, Police received a report of a residence on fire located on Bruce Road 9, in the Town of South Bruce Peninsula.
Bruce Peninsula OPP and the South Bruce Peninsula Fire Department attended and contained the fire quickly. There was no damage from the fire on the internal structure of the residence. The embers from the chimney, which landed on the residence roof, did ignite a small area on fire. Minimal damage was complete. The fire was not deemed suspicious; nor was any injuries.
