(TOWN OF SOUTH BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) – On August 8th, 2014 at 5:06p.m., a concerned member of the public observed what they believed to be an intoxicated male enter his motor vehicle and drive away in the area of Berford Street and Division Street, Town of South Bruce Peninsula.
The concerned citizen provided an excellent description of the motor vehicle and occupant to police. The motor vehicle was shortly thereafter located on Dawson Street.
After speaking to the driver, the officer arrested the male for impaired operation of a motor vehicle.
Edward HOPKINS, 50, of the Town of South Bruce Peninsula, has been charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor vehicle and Driving with more than 80mg of alcohol in 100ml of blood.
