(PEMBROKE, ON) – In the early morning hours of January 29, 2016 members of the Upper Ottawa Valley Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of the sound of breaking glass at Riverside Park in the City of Pembroke. Officers were on scene quickly and discovered that forced entry had been made to the Riverside Park Fieldhouse. One culprit, who was on foot, was located in the surrounding area and arrested. Further investigation identified a second male suspect and as a result two Pembroke men are facing Criminal Code charges in relation to this incident.
19 year old Dylan LEVAIR and 25 year old Brandon DUNN are each charged with one count of Break and Enter and Mischief Under $5000. DUNN faces additional Criminal Code charges of Possession of Break In Instruments and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000.
Both men were summonsed to court and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on March 15, 2016.
