(PALMERSTON, ON) On February 26, 2013 County of Wellington OPP officers recovered a stolen 2005 Saturn Ion from the parking lot of a business on Main Street, Palmerston. The vehicle was reported stolen on February 21, 2013 from an address on Fordwich Line, Howick Township.
The investigation identified a suspect in the vehicle theft, and as a result, a male party from Palmerston was arrested on February 27, 2013. Further investigation revealed this male was responsible for three break and enters that occurred in Palmerston between February 25 and 26, 2013.
Dustin Lunz, age 19 of Palmerston has been charged with the following Criminal Code charges: 3 counts of Break and Enter, 3 counts of Breach of Probation, Public Mischief, Possession of Stolen Property Under $5,000 and Fail to Comply With Undertaking. He was held in custody pending a March 12, 2013 Guelph court date.
