(Cavan-Monaghan Township, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and emergency crews were called to Highway 115 south of Peterborough County Road 28 yesterday just after 3:30pm.
A southbound dump truck lost control and rolled into the centre median of the highway. Both northbound and southbound lanes were reduced to one lane while crews removed the wreckage. Police are still investigating the cause of the collision.
The driver of the truck was transported to Peterborough Region Health Centre, he was treated for minor injuries.
