(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment investigated a motor vehicle collision at a Highway 3, Jarvis, Haldimand County, Ontario address.
On Sunday, July 10, 2016 at approximately 8:37 p.m., OPP and Haldimand County Fire Services and Paramedics responded to a motor vehicle collision involving two (2) vehicles.
Through the course of investigation, it has been determined that a beige Honda and white Ford motor vehicle became involved in a collision at Highway 3 and Cheapside Road.
As officers were conducting the collision investigation, the driver of the beige Honda proceeded to flee on foot from the area. Officers at the scene were able to take the male into custody without further incident.
As a result of investigation, police have charged 21-year-old Sean CRAYFORD of Hamilton, Ontario with blood alcohol level over legal limit causing bodily harm and escape lawful custody.
He will appear in Provincial Court, Cayuga at a later date to answer to the charges.
