(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County detachment has charged a 60 year old male with a drinking and driving offence after being called to a motor vehicle collision at a Railway St., Hagersville, Haldimand County, ON address.
On Sunday January 04th, 2015 at approximately 9:20 pm Police were called to the Hagersville Tim Horton’s parking lot to investigate a motor vehicle collision.
Investigation revealed that a red 2007 Dodge van being operated by a 60 year old man had entered the Tim Horton’s parking lot and struck a parked grey 2005 Toyota car. While speaking with the driver of the Dodge van the officer detected signs of impairment by alcohol which led to his arrest.
Charged with Driving a Motor Vehicle with over the legal limit of alcohol is 60 year old Gary Curtis of Hamilton, ON. He is to appear in Provincial Court, Cayuga, ON at a later date to answer to the charge.
