(QUINTE WEST, ON) – On November 11, 2013 at approximately 9:50pm officers from the Quinte West detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Telephone Rd.
When officers arrived on scene the involved vehicle was located approximately 150 feet in the bush north of 2nd Dug Hill Rd off Telephone Rd. After a short investigation the male party was arrested for impaired driving. A further check of the male party also showed that he was reported missing from Kingston.
The 28 year old male party from Belleville has been charged with Impaired Driving, Over 80mgs, Dangerous Driving, Take Motor Vehicle Without Consent and Drive Motor Vehicle No Licence.
The male is being held for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice 15 Bridge St West, Belleville.
