(Amherstview, ON)- On February 21, 2016 at 11 p.m. officers with the Loyalist detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police were dispatched to a single vehicle collision on Highway 33 in Amherstview, Loyalist Township.
A white cargo van travelling westbound on Highway 33 had struck a hydro pole near Fairfield Boulevard.
Officers attended the scene and arrested the male driver for impaired driving.
Charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80 mgs is
36 year-old Ian McLAREN of Loyalist Township.
He was released on a Promise to Appear to attend Provincial Court in Napanee on March 22, 2016.
