(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment investigated a motor vehicle collision at a Bellevue Avenue, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Saturday, September 17, 2016 at approximately 7:36 p.m., officers responded to a single motor vehicle collision.
Through the course of investigation, it has been determined that a black coloured vehicle was travelling on Bellevue Avenue when the driver lost control and left the roadway striking a residence.
There were no injuries reported to the occupants of the home.
As a result of investigation, police arrested and charged 25-year-old Lawrence Edward WILKES of Norfolk County, Ontario with impaired driving and driving over the legal limit.

The OPP is urging the public to remain vigilant in reporting impaired drivers.
