(PETROLIA, ON)- On April 11, 2017 at approximately 5:00 a.m. the Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended Petrolia Line at Greenfield Street, Town of Petrolia to investigate a complaint of a collision.
Preliminary investigation revealed that a 2006 Saturn had struck a cross-walk signal post located on Petrolia Line. As a result, the OPP identified the driver and deemed that she was impaired by the consumption of an alcoholic beverage.
Krystal LUKER, 31 years-of-age of Petrolia Ontario was arrested and charged with alleged impaired operation of a motor vehicle and for refusing to provide a breath sample. On May 15, 2017 she is to appear at the Sarnia Court House in order to answer to the charges.
The extent of the damaged signal post is unknown at this time. No injuries were reported as a result of the collision.
