(MIDDLESEX COUNTY, ON) – On December 17, 2016, at approximately 2:55 a.m., the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) West Region (WR) Highway Safety Division (HSD) conducted a motor vehicle stop on Wellington Street, near Gray Street, in the City of London, Ontario.
Officers determined that the 26-year-old male driver of the white Honda pickup truck had been drinking alcohol. A roadside screening device was administered, and the driver registered a “fail”. He was placed under arrest, and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for further breath testing.
As a result of the police investigation, Luiz BROWN TEGGART, from London, Ontario, has been charged with driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in blood, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was released from police custody by way of a Promise to Appear (PTA), and is scheduled to answer the charge in a London court on January 30, 2017.
