At 2:00am this morning Owen Sound Police investigated a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of the Owen Sound Rec Centre. The driver of the vehicle had been drinking and failed a roadside test. The driver was subsequently arrested for driving with a blood alcohol concentration over 80 milligrams and transported to the Owen Sound Police station. Breath samples taken from the driver exceeded twice the legal limit.
The driver, a 24 year old Owen Sound man was charged with driving over 80 milligrams. He has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Owen Sound Court on February 19th.
