(IGNACE, ON) – On Wednesday December 7, 2016 at approximately 6:00 p.m. the Ontario Provincial Police – Ignace officers were called to investigate a motor vehicle collision on Highway 17, Corman Township. The vehicle involved was a Commercial Motor Vehicle (tractor & trailer).
As a result of the investigation, Gregory TRIM (50 years old) of McDOUGALL, Ontario has been charged with Impaired operation of a motor vehicle contrary to section 253(1) (a) of the Criminal Code along with Operate a motor vehicle with over 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood contrary to section 253(1) (b) of the Criminal Code. TRIM has been released from custody and will appear in court in Ignace on February 1, 2017 to answer to the charges.
