Drunk Driver

(BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) – On Saturday February 1, 2014, at approximately 4:20 p.m. Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended the area of Scotch Settlement Road, Saugeen First Nation Territory for a domestic situation, police observed a green 1999 Buick Regal leave a driveway and observed it not being driven in a proper manner, the officer stopped the motor vehicle and while speaking to the driver evidence of alcohol consumption was detected which lead to the driver being arrested.

A 49 year old male from Saugeen, First Nation Territory, is charged under the Criminal Code of Canada Sec 253 (1)(a) with driving while his ability impaired and CC 253(1)(b) driving with more than 80 mgs. of alcohol in blood

He is scheduled to appear in Walkerton court on Monday, February 24, 2014 to answer to the charges.
