(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County detachment has charged a 39 year old man with Drug Possession after conducting a vehicle check at an Argyle St., Caledonia, Haldimand County, ON address.
On Sunday November 30th, 2014 at approximately 9:30 pm Police were conducting a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E.) program at the intersection of Argyle St and Alabastine St when a black 2008 Chev pickup truck appeared to be avoiding the check by turning into a business parking lot. The vehicle was subsequently stopped and while the officer was conducting an investigation a quantity of drug suspected of being marihuana was located and seized. A further search also revealed a quantity of drug suspected as being Hydromorphone which was also seized.
Charged with Possession of an illegal substance (Marihuana) and Possession of an illegal substance (Hydromorphone) for the purpose of Trafficking is 39 year old Robbe BEAVER of Mount Hope, ON.
