(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) – On December 30, 2013 at approximately 11:23 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers set up a R.I.D.E. spot check on Wellington County Road 21, and Side Road 4, Centre Wellington Township. At this time and location officers investigated the driver of a 2007 Saturn that entered into the checkpoint and marihuana was seized.
Robert SILVERSON age 51 of Etobicoke has been charged with Possession of Marihuana under 30 grams contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on January 31, 2014 to answer to the charge.
