(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) – On September 9, 2014 at approximately 8:45 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were conducting a R.I.D.E. program on Wellington Road 7 near Ross Street, Centre Wellington Township.
Police spoke with a male driving a 2013 Dodge and observed marihuana in the vehicle. The male was arrested and 22 grams were seized.
Stephen SCOTT aged 48 of Wellington North Township has been charged with Possession of Marihuana Under 30 Grams contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on October 17, 2014 to answer to the charge.
