Barrie Police Officers were detailed to a Vancouver St residence in regards to a male that appeared to be intoxicated, staggering in the middle of the road. The officers arrived on scene and located the male on an e-bike. The male exhibited severe symptoms of intoxication. The male was placed under arrested for 31(4) LLA for his own safety. During a search of the 19 yr old Oro-Medonte man a small quantity of drugs were located on his person. The male was lodged in the cells until sober and released with a future court date.
