On the 6th of February 2014, members of the Barrie Police Street Crime Drug Unit conducted a Controlled Drugs and Substance search warrant on a residence in the area of Big Bay Point Road and Leggott Avenue. As a result, 4 Barrie males between the ages of 20-29 we arrested for various drug related offences. All 4 males were transported to Barrie Police Headquarters where two were held pending a bail hearing and 2 released with a future court date. In total 17 criminal charges were laid. Officers seized a quantity of Cocaine, MDMA, Marihuana, various prescription narcotics and a quantity of cash.
