(PUSLINCH TOWNSHIP, ON) – On March 19, 2016 at approximately 9:17 a.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Traffic Management Unit (TMU) conducted a R.I.D.E. program at Gore Road near Side Road 10 in Puslinch Township.
While at the R.I.D.E. officers spoke with the male driver of a 2006 Acura and detected the strong odour of fresh marihuana emanating from the interior of the motor vehicle. Police located and seized a small quantity of marihuana. He was arrested released with a court date at the scene.
40-year-old Prinder BINNING of Cambridge has been charged with Possession of Marihuana Under 30 Grams contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on April 26, 2016.
