(PUSLINCH TOWNSHIP, ON) – On November 13, 2014 at approximately 7:40 p.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Traffic Management Unit (TMU) were conducting R.I.D.E. spot checks on Gore Road at Townline Road, Puslinch Township.
Officers investigated a male in a 2003 Dodge pickup truck that entered the program. Police observed suspected marijuana in the vehicle and arrested him. During the search, more suspected marijuana was located with an approximate weight of 112 grams.
Michael DE SOUZA age 51 from Cambridge has been charged with Possession of Marijuana over 30 grams contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on December 16, 2014 to answer to the charge.
