(THE BLUE MOUNTAINS, ONTARIO) Officers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charged a male with possession of marihuana over the weekend in The Blue Mountains.
On the 27th of January 2014 shortly after 1:00am, an officer on patrols in the Blue Mountain Resort area investigated two males on Jozo Weider Boulevard. Investigation found that one male had a small quantity of marihuana on him and as such he was arrested and transported to Collingwood detachment for processing.
Charged is 32 year-old Dan PHAM of Toronto, he is facing a charge of possession of a controlled substance – cannabis marihuana and is to appear in Owen Sound court on the 25th of February 2014. He was also charged with a Liquor License Act (LLA) offence of being intoxicated in a public place.
The other male, a 32 year-old from East York, was charged with LLA offence of having liquor in an open container in other than a licensed premise, residence or private place.
