(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Street Crime Unit along with members of the Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU), Emergency Response Team (ERT), Canine Services and members of the Norfolk County detachment have charged several people with drug offences after simultaneously executing search warrants at two different addresses at Montclair Crescent located in Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario.
On Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at approximately 5:00 a.m., police attended the addresses and executed search warrants. As a result, police recovered a quantity of illicit drugs and Canadian currency.
As a result of the investigation, police arrested and charged 25-year-old Tyrell Akeem MCGEARY of Norfolk County, Ontario with the following offences:
· Possession for the purpose of trafficking Crack Cocaine
· Possession for the purpose of trafficking Oxycodone
· Possession for the purpose of trafficking Hydromorphone
· Possession for the purpose of trafficking MDMA (Ecstasy)
· Possession for the purpose of trafficking Marihuana
· Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
· Fail to comply with probation order
Charged with the following offences is 20-year-old Carilyn Michelle DEMING of Norfolk County, Ontario:
· Possession for the purpose of trafficking Crack Cocaine
· Possession for the purpose of trafficking Oxycodone
· Possession for the purpose of trafficking Hydromorphone
· Possession for the purpose of trafficking MDMA (Ecstasy)
· Possession for the purpose of trafficking Marihuana
Charged with the following offences is 49-year-old Larry Allan BLAKEY of Norfolk County, Ontario:
Unauthorized possession of a firearm
Possession of Cannabis Resin (Hashish)
Possession of Marihuana
Charged with the following offences is 56-year-old Paul Robert WHITE of Norfolk County, Ontario:
Unauthorized possession of a firearm
Possession for the purpose of trafficking Crack Cocaine
Possession of Cannabis Resin (Hashish)
Possession of Marihuana
All are to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
