(Renfrew County, Ontario) – On July 29th 2015, members of the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) – Project Paradigm and Renfrew OPP Detachment executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act warrant to search at a residence in Renfrew Ontario. Police seized 3 cannabis marihuana plants, a small amount of cannabis marihuana bud and a shotgun.
Kenneth Berube (30) of Renfrew (ON) was arrested and charged with the following:
Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance CDSA 4(1)
Production of Schedule II Controlled Substance CDSA 7(1)
Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm CC 91(1)
Careless storage of a Firearm CC 86(1)
BERUBE was released on an Appearance Notice and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice of Ontario, Renfrew (ON) on September 16th 2015
