(WASAGA BEACH, ON.) – On December 5, 2016 at approximately 7:00 p.m., members of the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Drug Enforcement Unit, Community Drug Action Team, Tactical Response Team and the Huronia West Street Crime Unit of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) executed a search warrant at a residence on Main Street arresting several individuals, seized a quantity of drugs, drug paraphernalia and a prohibited knife.
As a result of the above investigation a quantity of the following drugs were seized:
Cocaine
Crack Cocaine
Heroin
Cannabis Marihuana
Oxycodone
Morphine
In addition OPP have charged the following people:
Thomas KENNEDY 44 year old from Tiny Twp. with “Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Cocaine”. First appearance is January 24, 2017 in Collingwood court.
Jesse FRENCH 26 year old from Wasaga Beach with “Unauthorized Possession of Weapon”. First appearance is January 24, 2017 in Collingwood court.
A 25 year old female from Wasaga Beach with “Traffick in Schedule I Substance – Cocaine”, “Possession of a Schedule II Substance – Cannabis Marihuana – over 30g.”, “Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Other Drug”, “Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime – under $5000” and 2 counts of “Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine”. First appearance is December 6, 2016 in Barrie court.
Another 25 year old female from Wasaga Beach with “Possession of a Schedule II Substance – Cannabis Marihuana – over 30g.”, “Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Other Drug” and 2 counts of “Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine”. First appearance is December 6, 2016 in Barrie court.
