(Tweed, ON) – On October 13, 2016 at 8:55 a.m. members of the Ontario Provincial Police Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU), Emergency Response Team (ERT), OPP Canine Unit and members of Central Hastings Detachment executed a Controlled Drug and Substances Act search warrant at a residence on Arthur Street in the Municipality of Tweed. Investigators seized approximately 60 grams of processed marihuana and drug related paraphernalia.
As a result 18 year old Quintin BOOMHOUR of Tweed, ON was arrested and charged with
Possession of a Schedule II Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking- under 3 kg
Fail to Comply with Recognizance
Fail to Comply with Probation
Boomhour has been held in custody pending a bail hearing at Ontario Court of Justice- Belleville on October 14, 2016.
In addition, Shawnie JOHNSON (19yrs) of Tweed, ON was arrested and charged with Possession of a Schedule II Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking- under 3 kg and Darius MOLENKAMP (19yrs) of Belleville, ON was arrested and charged with Possession of a Schedule II Substance-Cannabis Marihuana – over 30 grams. They were released from custody and will appear in Ontario Court of Justice – Belleville on November 10, 2016.
