Drug Bust In Norwich – 3 Arrested

(Norwich Township, ON) – On Friday, September 25th, 2015 the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Drug Enforcement Unit, Oxford County OPP, Oxford County Property Crimes Unit, West Region ERT, Organized Crime Unit, and West Region Forensic Identification Services, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a property situated on Oxford Road 55, Norwich Township, Oxford County, Ontario.

The OPP would like to advise the public that three (3) male suspects have been arrested in relation to this incident.

A 33-year old male, Cao KUI of Flushing, New York, U.S.A, a 40-year-old male, Tung WANG of Toronto and a 32-year-old male, You ZHANG of Toronto were all charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with the following:

Produce a Schedule II substance – (cannabis marihuana)

Possession of a Schedule II substance for the purpose of Trafficking – over 3 kilograms

Possession of a Schedule I substance – Cocaine

All males were also charged under the Criminal Code of Canada with the following:

Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm

Breach of Firearms Regulation – Store Firearm or Restricted Weapon

Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition

Possession of Prohibited of Restricted Firearm/Ammunition

Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000

All three males appeared for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock.
