(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) – On Friday, May, 20th, 2016, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Drug Enforcement Unit, and Perth County OPP executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a residence on Livingstone Avenue, in the Town of Listowel.
As a result of the execution of the search warrant, Police seized cocaine, cannabis marihuana, and cannabis resin. The estimated, combined street value of the seized controlled substances is $3,800.00. Police also seized offence related property that consisted of cash and drug trafficking paraphernalia with an estimated value of $2,400.00.
Police arrested and have charged the following persons:
Craig SHARPIN (39 years) of the Municipality of North Perth,
Stacy SHARPIN (44 years) of the Municipality of North Perth,
Andrew JOHNSON (44 years) of the Municipality of North Perth,
Brian HARE (36 years) of the Municipality of North Perth,
And
Kelly RICHARDSON (29 years) of St. Davids,
with possession of cocaine for the purposes of trafficking, possession of marihuana, and possession of cannabis resin.
JOHNSON and Stacy SHARPIN were also charged with possession of codeine. Stacy SHARPIN was additionally charged with failing to comply with conditions of a probation order.
All were held for bail hearings and released on recognizances and undertakings.
