Drug Bust In Huron Park – Richard SUTHERLAND

(SOUTH HURON, ON) – A 34-year-old from South Huron will be making a trip to court later this spring to answer to a Possession of Cannabis charge following a traffic stop that occurred yesterday (10May) in Huron Park.

Yesterday afternoon around 2:50 p.m. a Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer came across a pickup truck parked on Canada Avenue in Huron Park. Upon speaking with the lone occupant of the vehicle the investigating officer detected the odour of marihuana coming from inside the vehicle. A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the officer locating a quantity of dried cannabis and a marihuana plant.

Richard SUTHERLAND, 34 years of age from South Huron has been charged with Possession of a Schedule II Substance – Cannabis Marihuana. He has been released from custody with a court date scheduled for June 28, 2018 at the Ontario Court of Justice – Exeter.
