(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau, Drug Enforcement Unit assisted by the OPP Haldimand County detachment, the OPP Tactical Rescue Unit (TRU), OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT), OPP Canine Unit, and Provincial Weapons Enforcement Unit (PWEU) executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a Bolton Tract Road, Dunnville, Haldimand County, ON address.
On Thursday January 29th, 2015 at approximately 5:15 am Police attended the Bolton Tract Rd address and executed the search warrant on the residence which resulted in the two occupants being arrested.
During the search officers located and seized a quantity of Cocaine, Marihuana and Cannabis Resin. Also seized was a quantity of Canadian Currency and drug trafficking related paraphernalia.
As a result, 34 year old Lisa BECHTEL and 37 year old Ronald HANDSOR both of Haldimand County, ON have been charged with 1 count each of Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking (Cocaine), 1 count each of Possession of a controlled substance (Cannabis Marihuana) and 1 count each of Possession of a controlled substance (Cannabis Resin). Both are to appear in Provincial Court, Cayuga, ON at a later date to answer to the charges.
