Drug Bust In Collingwood

(COLLINGWOOD, ON.) Officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Central Drug Enforcement Unit and Community Drug Action Team (CDAT) with the assistance of the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains OPP Street Crimes recently executed a search warrant at a residence in Collingwood.

The warrant was executed on the 21st of January 2015 at a residence on Lockhart Road in Collingwood. During the warrant police seized approximately 850 grams of marihuana as well as cocaine, heroin, cannabis resin as well as fentanyl patches and methadone. Officers also charged two males as a result of the warrant and recovered a stolen generator and stolen chop saw which were returned to their rightful owners.

Charged are: 28 year-old Drew MILLIGAN of Collingwood, he is facing charges of possession of a controlled substance (2 counts) and failing to comply with recognizance. He was held for bail court in Barrie.

34 year-old Marc MILLIGAN of Collingwood, he is facing charges of possession of heroin, possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of cocaine, possession of a controlled substance x2, possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of cannabis marihuana and two counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5000. He is to appear in Collingwood court on the 17th of March 2015.
